 Ben
left our farm as a junior buckling to work in an AZ herd for a
friend. Ben’s stately appearance as a junior buck, along with
his impressive pedigree was sought after to add beautiful Nubian
breed character and longer bodies.
Ben was
loved and promoted, easily acquiring his CH. title. He was used
heavily in their herd and produced what they were looking for
him to do, which was to produce offspring that were outstanding.
Offspring which acquired BIS awards along with a permanent CH.
title to date. His offspring he produced in their herd exhibited
his tremendous general appearance, beautiful Nubian breed
character and the long bodies they were looking for.
The farm
Ben had been an integral part of went through a herd dispersal,
bringing Ben back to us. He was used lightly in our herd the
fall of 2008 due to the fact we acquired back an 8 year old
buck, named Showman in the summer of 2008 that we’d bred. We
made the choice to use Showman heavily over our other bucks due
to his age.
Ben
himself is a tremendous general appearance buck, appraising as a
4 year old with a linear appraisal final score of 92. Ben is
excellent in his head, shoulder assembly, legs back and rump. He
is such a long, level and dairy buck with such a majestic manner
in his appearance. Ben’s dam,
Razmataz, had an excellent mammary and was such a beautiful,
dairy doe. Ben’s temperament is as gentle and sweet as they
come. |
