 Welcome back Love! Love has naturally
tested negative in the standard tests we require
to enter our herd and
officially joined our herd once again. Love was sold as a yearling to
a friend who desired to
own a few quality Jacobs Pride animals for their personal milk and
cheese. She was loved and
well cared for. Love resided in a completely closed herd consisting
of all Jacobs Pride
animals. She was never shown after leaving us and had never left the
property of her new home for
5 years
other then coming here for her yearly breeding and when
the family took vacations and needed
a goat sitter.
Love is milking adequate with her
first official test on 2-28 of 9.5 lbs. milk followed up a
second test 3-27 of 7.5
lbs. milk.
Love's temperament is as sweet as
it can be. Although she could easily push her will
around with her size,
strength and power with her added seniority of being an aged doe,
she is meek and mild
without being skittish or fearful. However, her enjoyment for the
show ring at this time in
her life, not so much.
