Carrot
was a very exciting first freshening yearling. She was stunning
for me as a junior kid and to see her freshen was everything I'd hoped
for. Unfortunately
Carrot developed a mass in the lower half of her udder just above her
teat that was
treated as mastitis last year and dried off early. As a second
freshener, the mass is still
there however thankfully, not as intrusive as it was last year and is
allowing her to be
productive.
Carrot's
temperament is totally AMAZING and completely endearing! She has her
parents
Hottie and Howie's
loving, sweet personalities blended together and doubled up
in Carrot.
Carrot
has a mammary system that surpassed her dam. Her udder is soft and
supple
that milks out
completely and down to an empty glove aside from the damage she
encountered as a yearling milker. I look forward to watching her
mature, filling in and
filling out, maturing into a beautiful doe.
