Dar Mar was named after my sister Darlene
(Dar) and her son, Mark (Mar)
in honor of their much appreciated and needed assistance that day of
Rockelle’s delivery and
Dar Mar’s arrival.
Dar Mar is a good representation of her Dam
Rockelle and very much like her maternal aunt
Excelente who's extremely correct in
structure beautiful general appearance and outstanding breed
character.
Dar
Mar beautiful and very promising udder went uneven due to an
undetected environmental mastitis I'd guessed she picked up at
her first show. I was unsuccessful at bringing her udder back
even and made a last minute decision to place her where she
could serve another breeder well. We strive to maintain a small
to medium sized herd and allow ourselves only a certain number
of brood does who I like to try and reserve for our older,
finished ladies who have stood the test of time and acquired at
least one outstanding attribute such as a GCH title or Top Ten
award.
