Flashback to the past.
Showman was admired by a fellow breeder at
Pima County fair in 2000 when he was only two weeks old. I was
approached for his purchase and with some friendly persuasion, I
reluctantly let him go since my intentions had been to retain
him as our junior herd sire.
Fast
forward to the present.
The summer of 2008 I had the opportunity
to purchase Showman back as an 8 year old buck. Clearly it was
an appreciated opportunity I was given, welcoming the chance to
bring him back home in his twilight years.
Showman is high at
the shoulder, sharp and uphill. He has a Strong, powerful head
and is still standing on strong pasterns. His ribbing is flat and wide,
exhibiting a keen dairyness.
Showman’s litter mate sister,
Blonde Bombshell
is legendary in our herd as well as mading a name for
herself nationally.
