2 Spot blended into the rest of the juniors when she was young and was dubbed, 2 Spot, as her call name because of two spots she sported on her poll, side and front legs. Yet if singled out, she could withstand the scrutiny of a discriminating eye with her lovely stature correct structure and beautiful Nubian breed character. Her disposition is quiet and sweet.
2 Spot is the result of a planned breeding I was quite excited about on paper. It doubled up and focused on the milk in her genetics with Pistachio being the main component to carry the high milk production in from his dam who was a TOP TEN Breed Leader in all 3 categories. Then there were other TOP TEN Breed Leaders standing out as well on paper, to name Candy, Yonina, Damara and Tessa as strong contributors for production. But as we all know, the proof and our fulfillment is in the freshening. It became obvious after freshening that she would be a major player on our show string as well as in the milk parlor.
2 Spot is an outstanding young doe. She is very good across the board in all her structural categories with an excellent rear leg set. Her mammary is equally as promising. It is very good as well. It’s a mammary when viewed from the side has that 1/3-1/3-1/3 visual. It is high and wide in the rear with the strong, desired MSL. Her fore udder is long, smooth and beautiful. Finishing off with a mammary that milks out and down beautifully. Actually, come to mention it, all of our first fresheners have mammary systems that milked out and down beautifully with that delightful buttery texture.
